Hamner looked at the young sileons before her. They were just aboutto go out on their journey, and being prepared to go out by some of the older sileons. A campfire was in the middle of the circle, and an aqua coloured youngling was making shapes out of the fire. "Sryike, could you help me with this story?" Hamner asked the youngling.

"Yes," Sryike said shyly. A couple of her friends laughed quietly at her change in personality, as she was normally, well, a firey personality.

"Good," Hamner replied before starting on her story, "In the time before sileons there was a great being. This being was the great Cyune. Cyune was alone in this world, and the only other life at the time was the great trees of old, and they aren't great company. One night as Cyune was gathering beautiful rocks in a cave, she found a rock she had never seen before. The mysterious rock looked as if it was made of silver, but it wasn't rough, it was very smooth. Now, Cyune wasn't one to leave a mystery unsolved, so she picked up this rock and took it back to her den."

During the speech Sryike was making the fire go into images of what she thought the story would look like.

"This rock wasn't just any rock, this rock was an egg. One day, as Cyune was puzzling over the mystery, the rock rolled towards her fire. Cyune tried to catch it before it reached the fire, but was too late. The rock had gone right into the middle of the fire and seemed to be cracking under the heat. Cyune was greatly sorrowed by this. But as we know, this wasn't any ordinary rock, soon the egg totally cracked and a small silver creature flew out and smacked into Cyune. Cyune was very surprised to find this little creature, and overjoyed that there was such a thing. She soon named the creature 'Sileon' for the silver colour of the egg and for the knowledge that these creatures would last for eons. After little Sileon grew up, they traveled together and came across more eggs over time. They helped them all hatch. After awhile they discovered that the egg did not have to be silver and could be of many numerous designs. After many adventures together Sileon  finally grew old and died, Cyune couldn't handle the loss of her greatest friend and ran to the north, nobody is sure what happened to her. I believe she must have also passed on, but remained as a spirit. I think I may have seen her once, but I cannot be sure. All you need to know is that she often sends out her sorrow for her friend in the form of beautiful colours that dance in the sky."

After finishing the story Hamner had a serious look to her and one small sileon believed that whatever she was thinking had to be really amazing... But in reality Hamner's thoughts went somewhat like this:

I'm sorta hungry... and there's a fire... Maybe when the younglings leave I'll cook up a piece of meat... It'd go well with ketchup. Maybe tomorrow I'll try to learn to transform into a butterfly... Yeah, that's what I'll do, maybe one of my friends will join me.
I wrote this up for a friend.

Sileons are my little made up dragon-like creatures. I put up the ref for the species... if you want to make one feel free to do anything with it, all you need is to be creative.
